In-Talk: Finally Nirbhaya Act was honored!

Nirbhaya act, which came into existence few years back, got good popularity in the media. Interestingly, this act got even more criticism from the nation as the culprits in this case were not given death sentence. Even though the act is in implementation, most of the girls didn’t believe that it will stop the ongoing rape attempts, as the main culprits were not given the right punishment. Looks like, Indian courts decided to honor the Nirbhaya act by giving death sentence to the culprits.

Delhi Court punished the culprits with death sentence and the Supreme Court suggested to go for an alternative. Responding to this, Justice Deepak Mishra stated that the crime these four youngsters committed can’t be accepted and death sentence is for sure final. Delhi Police gave the right information using the latest technology and it has been completely proved that these four youngsters were the real culprits.

Nirbhaya’s parents who were in the court during this judgement expressed their happiness by clapping their hands. They mentioned that they can now sleep peacefully as justice has been done to their daughter.
