India - USA Crude Oil 100 million deal
India, which is the third largest importer of Crude Oil is now going for a tie-up with USA on the Oil imports. As per the information, India will be getting its first shipment of Crude Oil from USA in September. With the change in quality of the Crude Oil and the price variations, India decided to look for alternatives for the Crude Oil imports from Middle East. USA, which is becoming a healthy partner for India in all domains, offered the best deal.
As per this deal, 2 million barrels of Crude Oil will be shipped to India which would cost the democratic nation a total of $100 million. If India is happy with the quality and the price, the nation may go for more such deals in future. Apart from the weaponry tie-up, India and USA were sharing special bonding in Crude Oil business too. Russia too has been a good partner for India on the defense and IT side. Israel too turned into a good friendly nation for India.
With series of interesting deals and strategic tie-ups, India is moving ahead as the mostly friendly nation in the world and an emerging super power.
