India tops in Internet Banking survey

Things are going digital and in another decade most of the traditional transactions will be completely converted to digital. In this scenario, Avaya, a Global Tech Company conducted a survey on which nation has the best set of users interested in Internet Banking. Among the banking customers from India, UK, Australia and UAE, Indians topped the list with 26% opting for Internet Banking services.

UAE and UK stood in the next positions with 24% and 21% respectively while Australia occupied the last position with 19%. Analysts were saying that the digitization due to demonetization showed huge impact on Indians. Almost all the educated people started using Internet Banking while most of the uneducated people too learnt the basics of Internet Banking and were trying to use them.

Population of India is expected to grow by almost 75% in the next 50 years span and if Indians prefer Internet Banking, it is a boon for the IT companies to work on multiple projects related to digitization. Cashless transactions are safe for the nation too as they provide transparency to the government which will help in effective tax collection. More than pointing out the black money holders, demonetization helped India to go digital, which is another stepping stone for the success of the nation.
