Overview
Hare Krishna Temple in San Diego is one among the several ISCKON Temples located all over the world. The temple is dedicated to a mission of teaching the science of spiritual consciousness to as many people as possible. Lord Krishna and Radha were the deities in this temple.
- Everyone can attend the daily Aarthi given to Lord Krishna at multiple times of the day, at 4:30 am, 12 noon, 4:30 pm, 6:15 pm, 8:30 pm, etc
- There are several events organized daily that everyone can participate in. Bhagavad-Gita study is conducted from Monday to Wednesday. An evening of kirtan, topical discussions, music, and a light meal is organized every Thursday. A Sunday Fest includes spiritual music, chanting, philosophy and dinner, and many more.
- The temple priests are open to providing services for ceremonies like weddings, Nama Karana, Anna Prasana, and many more.
- The temple also has a catering service called Krishna Gourmet where 100% pure vegetarian/vegan food is prepared. All the food is first offered to the Lord and then distributed in the temple itself. Anyone interested can reserve their catering.
