- Iskon Hare Krishna Temple of Atlanta
Dedicated to obey the mission of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami by serving the greater Atlanta community and beyond, The Iskon Temple of Atlanta was first established on 13th Street in the Mid-Town Atlanta area. The temple got located in Ponce de Leon Ave in 1972. Established in the 1980s The Al-Farooq Masjid is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, religious organization. This is one of the largest Mosques in the Southeastern United States. The Masjid also has an academic religious parochial school with 200 students learning all academic subjects including Islamic Studies and Arabic. The traditional BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir was established in the year of 2007. It is a place of worship for all the Hindus, a haven for spirituality, and a place of paramount peace.
